MDBourbon
I have really been enjoying this bottle of EW SB 04, what about a barrel strength? Or a barrel strength Rye from BT. However, I wouldn't pass up on just about everything that was mentioned.
fishnbowljoe
I would have a slightly hard time choosing between two. Weller whore that I am , my first pick would more than likely be a ten year old Weller bottled at 100 proof. In other words, Weller Centennial. My second pick would be a ten year old barrel of GTS bottled at 101 proof. Again, in other words, Eagle Rare 10/101, or, what was called Baby Stagg, or Stagg Jr by some of us here a while back. Yes, it was called that by a few of us here way before BT came out with Stagg Jr. Cheers! Joe
tannnehill kid
It would be Blanton's, Weller 12 and Rock Hill Farms for me. Wish they still made Old Charter 10 yo.
Amhazed
Oh my oh my where would a novice in the world of Bourbon start were he able to get his grubby hands on his very own barrel?? There are so many that I've had "fantasies" about that I'll probably never taste that some of you probably have in your stash. So, I'll have to go with what I know for certain I will enjoy. I would go with Blantons and secondly Blood Oath
Ravensfire
....And bottle it at Barrel Proof..... :drinking: Oh Yeah!!!!I'd buy that for a dollar!(or a bunch of dollars, 'cause that is some seriously tasty stuff!)Outside of that, Rock Hill Farms at barrel proof would be tasty stuff. I'd also be interested in an Angel's Envy Rye BP option.
Ravensfire
Or a barrel strength Rye from BT. Thomas H Handy, but I'd love to see one with some more age on it - that could be interesting.
mosugoji64
Barrel proof, unfiltered OGD would be pretty cool since OGD114 is the closest thing we have.

bourbonfoot
A few years ago some friends and I had this actual conversation about buying a barrel. We had decided on a barrel proof wheater from HH. Then low and behold I came across a couple per SB . Besides that I think I'd just give Jim Rutledge the keys and give me one of those 15+ year old barrels that he saves for the LEs.
