My comment was sarcasm...that's why I added the wink emoji at the end of my comment. I have bunkered quite a few half gallons of EC12 with the red 12 year age statement on the front of the bottle, but I do have a bottle of the NAS that I've tried. It's still pretty good at this point, but I have to wonder whether it will get worse as time goes by. Of course it will probably have a new label and be called "1789" by then.

Missed the sarcasm intent! Agree with everything else you said.

There are those however who prefer the NAS EC as they thought the 12 year was too oak forward. I thought it was perfect as it was and the NAS disappointed me.
