El Vino
OGD 114 to start. Moved on to PHC 8 with a few drops of water. Really love that PHC 8. Haven't even seen a bottle of PHC 9.
ccleve23
Well, I watched through halftime. Then, I did two loads of laundry. Time well spent - I have bourbon all over the laundry room.

Jazz Nut
Alternating between OWA and EC18 while trying to get a bit of work done to get a head start on the week.
Jazz Nut
Usually freshly opened bottles of OWA are fairly alcoholic, but this bottle is an absolute sweet cinnamon and spice bomb! Compared to ORVW, I am digging the OWA much better tonight!
Jazz Nut
Finishing off the evening with a small pour of EC18, a newly opened bottle as of last week. Overall, it's got some fruitiness on the palate, with orange peel, and cinnamon spice. One cautionary tale, this seems best neat. A SMALL drop of water totally ruined the (already fairly thin) mouth feel. I find it not to be over oaked, but some people think EC12 is over oaked! Not sure I'll be getting any more bottles of this. Tucker
One pour into a freshly-opened store selected OWA (shout out to GAbiker). I like it. Kinda wish I hadn't waited six months to get to it.
Jazz Nut
After a Weller night (WSR, OWA, W12, and ORVW), I have moved to Elijah Craig. Trying small pours of EC18 and ECBP 67.8%, then I decided to make a "glass vatting" of EC18 (1/3) and ECBP (2/3), we shall see what this tastes like.....Why not? Happy Monday!I may just bottle up a batch! I know people will say it's a waste of bourbon, but I am digging it so far. Jazz Nut
I was just thinking the same thing earlier today Jazz Nut.Came up with 115 proof 15 year average. Here's to trying new things. :toast:Glad to know I'm not alone! But I found it very freeing to blend up a glass of this! Why not give it a shot? I found it to retain qualities that I like in both EC18 and ECBP. I find the blend of EC18 to still retain freshness, and brightness with orange peel, spices, and oak---with ECBP having deep spice, caramel, muted orange, and barrel funk. Fort Knox
Well, I was gonna take the night off, but then decided to have a small pour of ETL to keep the streak alive.
flahute
Started with the first pour of a new bottle of KC. Fantastic. Which is saying something for me as I haven't been jazzed about this in the past. It's either a good batch or my palate has changed.Followed with CEHT Single Barrel. I must have a particularly good barrel here as this one is consistently hitting well above average. If it was possible to identify barrel info, I'd stock up.Finishing with Baker's. Always solid. If it was possible to identify barrel info, I'd stock up.I'm loving the bottle of CEHTSB that I have open right now as well. Trying to go slow on it, since I don't come across any of the Colonel very often in my neck of the woods, much less the Single Barrel. Picked up the bottle I have when I was in Austin, TX on vacation this summer.

OldDrinker1978
OGD114. While I really like alot about its (unique) character it's really a little too hot I think. Had a OWA before which has some heat already but compared to the peppery finish of OGD114 it's a smoothie...
