HHSS2. This bottle continues to impress. There is only about a pour or two left in bottle #371 and I am not happy about it.

HM10BIB and Charter 101 the last couple of nights. 

Tonight I opened a bottle of The Gifted Horse and while not knowing quite what to expect I'm very pleased. Sweetness on the front from the youngish of the blend, bitterness on the back from the older, a great finish, and enough proof to carry it through

That's good to hear , Hops.  I purchased several of the first releases of the OB series, and can say that it had become a been-there-done-that exercise for me.  Not sure there was much more of the old ones to bring to my palate, honestly, that were going to get my attention.  This one, though, has intrigued me as the proof and price have sounded good, while more importantly the blend sounded interesting.  I figure it would be worth a shot, and planned on picking one up when I ran across it.

Starting the evening with EC12 Store pick, ECBP #8, and Old Pulteney 17, probably Springbank after that.  Happy Humpday!

OGD 114 to start.  Not sure if it'll also be to finish or not.  Depends on if I can peel myself out of this recliner to go pour another at this point or not.

It sure is a tough act to follow! Now, about that 40 acres... :rolleyes:

Cold weather is setting back in here today and I'm feeling a rye craving.  Probably going to reach for some RR to start off (after dinner of course).  :D

Which is why I put the bottle in the trash can next to my recliner at the start of the evening . . .

Tonight, it is basic BT - had a yen for candy apple which is what it tastes like, sort of, for me.  Plus, @ 90 proof, I can have two and still be able to see the TV.  Passed on a Wathen's today - never had it, and I think it was the first I've ever seen on the shelf.  I was looking for VOB bonded to replenish my supply and was sorely disappointed because there was none so bought nothing.
