smokinjoe
One of the Best Bang For Your Buck Bourbons anywhere. Sorry to see this one go, but thankful there is a bunker full, and that Alabama is just a short drive out I-20.

elmossle
Polished off a bottle of EC22 tonight. Won this bottle in a charity auction with a lot of other items and bottles a few years ago. I had stretched this bottle about as far as I could and it was fantastic all the way until the end. Wish I had a second one to replace with in the bunker. I guess I will have to use a bottle of EC18 or 23 to replace it.

Just don't feel it at $25. Sub $20 I'm all over it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk I was very happy to kill that bottle of mine. It's finished in I think sherry casks. Was easier to drink once I knew what it was but still too far off of the whiskey flavor to appeal to me. I used it to mix in cocktails to kill it. Golferpimp1
How do you like your Yeti cup? It's incredible...I keep it in the freezer and it chills the bourbon enough to be just a bit cooler than room temp and it's perfect for me. IncredulousNosco
Finished off a couple of massively peaty, high ABV whiskies I had sitting around for a bit...just delaying pleasure. Both are spectacular. At least I can grab an Uigeadail pretty much any time. Unfortunately BPCE is reaaaaaly hard to find.

Looks like you drank it with ice like I did. I found that I enjoyed it with pasta, basically drinking it like wine. The main reason I don't like it though is that it is simply a disappointing blended Canadian. What is wrong with Beam/Suntory!? Why aren't they putting out a $40, 10+yo pure Alberta Straight Rye?? C'mon!! Haven't these guys (ignoring the WPOW, who is off topic in this thread and comment), among a couple of others proven that freakin' spectacular whiskey is available, and folks are willing to pay big for it? Bardstown could be to bourbon brands what the Cayman Islands are to banking - walk down the street and look at the brass plaques next to the doors, and each door has dozens of recognizable names next to it . . . with nobody behind the door since it's just a mail drop. Yesterday's empty was a Larceny. So, I got another out of the bunker just in case I have an itch. It's not open, but it is close at hand. I need a bigger trash can next to my chair. Santa . . .? Tony Santana
Elmer T. Lee bit the dust. Really nice bourbon - too bad it's been hyped/priced out of proportion to what it's worth.
Postal Grunt
A fine sample of ER10 served up its last pour yesterday, following a WT Rye101 and a HMcKBIB in the previous week or so. I'm planning on seeing how far I can exploit my rating on the Naughty or Nice List this year so there will be a little room left on the shelf by the time the Jolly Guy makes the scene.
