Paddy
I managed to finish off the Old Bardstown BIB tonight. I also finished another ER10 earlier in the week. I'll be buying more OBBIB, but I've got a lot of open rye's to work on now...
flahute
Emptied a Thomas H Handy tonight. Always time for reflection when a BTAC bottle gets emptied.
Dgriffin
Finished a bottle of 6 year old Fighting Cock last night. I was surprised at how much I liked it and will probably pick another bottle up (if I can find one with the age statement.) GeeTen
A handle of BT and a bottle of ER10 hit the grey recycle bin after the Patriots' win over the Ravens on Monday night. It was either finish off the bottles or have a cardiac incident with this team. Luckily there were only a few fingers worth of amber liquids left in each. But I continue to be amazed with the quality of dSculptor's vatting with StaggJr - "too drinkable"! Edited December 14, 2016 by GeeTen Spelling and grammar, again! Charlutz
It gets a lot of love here but Larceny is not for me. I won't buy another unless I learn I got a bad bottle. I liked the Bernheim. I'm not in a hurry to buy another but I liked it and will buy one at some point. elmossle
Said goodbye to the last pour of a '14 THH this evening. Sad to see this one go but happy I have more in the basement. Christmas with the neighbors tomorrow evening and I have a feeling a PVW20 might meet the end of the line. Tune in tomorrow to see if I was correct. flahute
Pulling out all the stops for the holidays. Emptied within the past week: Thomas H Handy '14, ORVW10yr '15, GTS '15. It's been a really good week.
Charlutz
Both of these went down last night. I enjoyed both but the Jr. batch 4 is special. I have two more unopened and am going to open a batch 6 next to save the 4's for a later date. I love how BT is cranking this one out. The Sig is a good pour and my first experience with OF. I love this year's birthday bottle and will continue to buy OF. Edited December 22, 2016 by Charlutz

Charlutz
After a couple of beers, I switched to whiskey and started with some russel's reserve rye single barrel. I then had some eagle rare. I finished with what I thought was going to be a 2 oz. pour of Buffalo Trace but then I was so close to killing the bottle I figured I'd finish it. I must say, the diameter of the family size bottles can be deceiving. My bottle killing pour just may have defeated the nosing purpose of the Glencairn. I'll sleep well. I haven't had this one, but I really like the GD Hand-Selected Barrel that I'm working on. The stores in Portland have a barrel of it that they've split between stores and I picked up a couple more on my way through on a road trip. May get one more on my way back next week. Dgriffin
Me and my brother finished off my first bottle of Elijah Craig 12year last night. He is mostly a craft beer guy, but I think I am converting him . Edited December 25, 2016 by Dgriffin
