If you were already planning on making a donation to the charity in question (for $3,000), then yes, you may as well get a bottle as a bonus. It is being advertised as a release of one of the last remaining barrels of S-W bourbon, in the form of 34 bottles being auctioned off in a single lot where you can win the entire barrel's worth of S-W bourbon. But the photos provided clearly shows Bottle #35. I'd pay $1000 for the piece of history if I could find a bottle ha. Same with my theory behind John E Fitz and the latest Parker's Heritage BIB. I think it's a total boondoggle. Totally sounds like someone trying to take advantage of the market to get people to spend an insane amount of money on what really could be any unknown whiskey.
