My wife and I tried this at a tasting in Granada last summer.  We liked it so much we bought a bottle to bring home with us.  It's so delicious.  The only problem is it's only available in Granada that I know of (well, certainly not the States, possibly in other Caribbean islands).  We should have bought multiples!

No pic, but I opened the new version of Hampden 8 yo 46% and it's pretty sour and astringent at first.

I'm confident it'll open up after being open a bit and it did get better with a little water.

I poured some GH21 for a reminder of how good Hampden can be. This is my favorite thing ever from Hampden.

Looking forward to the GH22 cracking.

It does, it’s a “Hampden for Dummies” and a nice pour when you don’t want to think about what’s in your glass too much and simply enjoy the rum. YMMV but let us know what you think.

I had a neck pour of Great House 22; first impression is I like the 21 more,  but this is great too. I'll probably let it sit awhile.

Delicious pour after dinner of BBQ chicken and grilled potatoes and onions. 😋

Joe I think you’re in the wrong forum, this is for rum 😂 jk.

Appleton 12 is always a solid pour and good for cocktails too.

I opened up this Macnair’s 15y Rum I picked up a few weeks ago.
This is a very good Rum, very soft, not sweet like most rums. Not bourbony and in your face like foursquare rums, but you would almost have to look at the bottle to make sure it’s Rum. Very glad I picked it up.

Well, since the ladies in the house have us watching “Love Island Games”, I figured I’d go with a rum.  Detente may be needed in this show!  🤣🤣
