Golferpimp1
So my wife bought me this for Christmas today, she just doesn't know she did. Or maybe I won't tell her and open it. I realize it's a gimmick-y marketing ploy, and the 17-year bourbon in there probably is not actual liquid gold from the Stitzel-Weller distillery, but whatever. I like marketing gimmicks, within reason, and was feeling adventurous. I have enjoyed the bottle I opened with my brother last week. I was pleasently surprised. Here's to hoping you will be too! Do not feel like this is a waste of money. This is a good, if interesting sipper (once you get over the somewhat strange nose).
BDanner
Picked up a OGD 114 for the bunker and a Japanese Blend, Suntory Whisky Toki. I really enjoyed the Toki. Good break from bourbon. It was "light" but still had a lot going on, both on the nose and palate. A good summer pour or day drinker.
beasled
Amazon UK had a deal on Bookers for £35, cheapest I've seen it here. So picked one up. Cheers!
t-ball
After reading ALOT on the forums, I stopped by the "Supply Store" last night. Picked these up to "sample". Long time Crown and Makers' drinker, so looking forward to tasting these. New to the board and am really enjoying learning about different bourbons. Wondering how big a bunker-suitcase to bring along. Can you share what the cost of the OGD 114 was?? It seems to be a bottle with a tremendous cost variance by location... We are a control state so no matter which ABC store you visit it will be $30. It may be a little hard to find, not necessarily because it's discontinued but because they just added it to the state's approved brand list about 6 months ago...just in time for it to disappear! A lot of stores may not have added it to their shelves. I visited two stores in Durham a couple months ago and one store carried it and one did not. Thanks, just pulled up the ABC / state pricing site. Most illuminating!
DeepCover
I was fortunate enough to pick up a bottle of PHC 24 today. I'm still in disbelief that a local store was able to score a bottle for me.

RocAFella1
First post although I used to have an account that I can't remember the password for and I can't remember the email I used to register. 3 x EC BP
Paddy
Although I've yet to ever see it on a shelf in Ky, I was able to pick up a ECBP that a friend had been holding for me.
M777
Found a lone bottle of Elmer T Lee for $40, not the best price but I haven't seen it in well over a year plus my last bottle is around half way. It followed me home.
Kalessin
Picked up a regular Knob Creek as it was on sale and gave two lottery entries for a drawing to allocate BTAC/Pappy/other LE's at a favorite store. Picked up 4 x OGD114 at $24.99 (the lowest price I've found in the Boston area), because I'm building a stash of my favorite cold-season whiskey. Left some on the shelf, but I may go back for more. Charlutz
Picked up two OGD114@$30 each before applying a $10 off $50 purchase coupon at Total Wine. I like this and always have one on the shelf and never needed to hunker. New world.
Whiskeythink.com
Went to a small mom & pop shop not far from the house yesterday for the first time. Asked about Weller 12, & he pulled one out from under the counter! And only 34.99. This will be a new regular stop.

I've also found more stuff "under my nose" than I would have ever guessed. On the Sazerac Rye yesterday -- a very tight but fully stocked store... Thirsty Adam
I was able to try GTS '15, Bookers Rye and Orphan Barrel Barterhouse at lunch today. All outstanding in their own ways. I didn't purchase any new bottles but I was gifted a home distilled pineapple moonshine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
robertckim
Couldn't help myself, but purchased a single barrel Eagle Rare 10 year that was bottled for Total Wine. It says "Barrel No. 166". On a side note, I was told that the BTAC would be allocated to their grand reserve and reserve members in the near future.
