Golzee
Old Fitzgerald Prime for $10.99. I wanted to try the OF line, but, could not find the BIB. So after months of searching I caved and bought the prime. Not expecting too much, I have a feeling this will be my garage bourbon.

FacePlant
Bunkered some WSR at $32 per handle. I'm thinking they could bump it some after the new look hits the shelves. Also got a Baby Saz and Stagg Jr. 7.
Prof_Stack
At Total Wine in Seattle, I bought a smooth Black Ridge Bourbon, a bottle I haven't had in over a year. The head whiskey guy says its "similar" to Elmer T. Lee bourbon. Dunno about that, since I've never had it. While there, I noticed 4 types of Booker's Bourbon, all priced at $76 before WA taxes. Fuck Beam. I also noticed that the One-Liter sized Knob Creek has no age statement on the front label, or anywhere on the label. The other KC had 9-year statements. While I am no big fan of the stunt Beam pulled with the Booker's pricing announcement....I'm afraid, in this particular instance it's f--- TW all the way. They've had Bookers in the low-to-mid 70's for a few months now. Well before the Beam announcement.
garbanzobean
Bought an Old Forester Signature for $23. Haven't had this in awhile. I've read a lot of mixed reviews so I figured I'd check in and see how it's doing. It's been a go-to midshelfer for years, so I hope it's still okay. TW has had it at this price for a while now. They have some weird prices on certain things. Which store were you at? This "Black Ridge as rejected Elmer barrels or just like Elmer" thing has been making the rounds. I was told this at the Lynnwood store. I saw someone on r/bourbon saying they had been told the same thing. Edited January 7, 2017 by flahute spelling

grantsi
While browsing Binnys, I found they have marketed the Jim Beam experimental series 375ml bottles down to $14.99 from $49.99...snagged 3 of the varieties. Never had them, wanted them or read anything about them but nothing like a side-by-side-by-side tasting with no expectationsSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just not worth the $100 per 750ml standard price. I'd buy it at $15.

However, if I were heading that way or knew someone heading that way I would probably have them pick up a couple different bottles for me. I understand that not all locations had all of the different bottles. But, $15 for 375 ml of a JB experimental bottling isn't to bad. The red wheat and barley bottles sound most interesting. The price is 70% off the original MSRP. Do you think they are trying to clear the shelves for good? These didn't seem like fast movers. dcbt
Picked up a WTRB 112.8 yesterday to replace the final pour of a 108.2 I enjoyed. Been on a bit of a WTRB kick lately.

I'm curious to hear your comparison.

A little more bite, but also some more flavor country going on I think.
