OldFitzWithTheGoldLabel
Oh me too! I actually think he will. It may be 10 years from now, but I doubt he'll drink it alone. Part of the joy of having a bottle like that is sharing it with friendsAbsolutely. I never open my more expensive bottles (which, for me, is $40 and up) alone. I also insist on my guests drinking it neat, at least for their first taste. I look forward to reading your review of the experience is 2027.Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

I try to be polite when they bring a special beer bottle, and they reciprocate with the bourbon.

I'm gonna concentrate on Islays tonight, especially to see if I want to drop coin on another Bowmore 25 and to decide if the Lagavulin 200th anniversary 25 yr old was worth it (likely not). Will hopefully compare the Hakushu 12 and 18, too. Hope my tastebuds can hold out. Should probably start with the Japanese. Gotta watch how much vW FR Rye gets poured. some ryes to compare will likely get into various 4R's (some gins partly visible, another favorite) and BT Single Oaks Bar shots with BT SO 143, 144 will we get into this? I hope not Awesome!

OldFitzWithTheGoldLabel
Tonight I took my wife out to dinner for her birthday. A friend of mine is a bartender at a local restaurant and he stashed some Very Special Old Fitzgerald for me. So tonight, I finished off their bottle. So delicious. I am not a bunker kind of guy, but I blew by not stockpiling this when it was affordable and fairly readily available.Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Ok changing my mind pretty awesome, not secondary market pricing awesome, or hunting all over town awesome. However at retail pricing and somewhat available, pretty awesome. whiskeyagonzo
Had a great evening with some fine folks, some of which are SBers. I enjoyed the decades but not for the price point. Much better offering than MK IMHO. Also had WT Donut, CGF and an old 93 RB. Not to mention various other malts and things I won't go into because I'm tired and crashing. Always a good time to visit and share a few pours. Thanks for hosting Eric.

If you have any dear ails on this Armagnac it's appreciated.

Clueby
Took some Stagg Jr. to a BYOB birthday party tonight. Someone else brought aome Angel's Envy. Hadn't had any AE in a long time. Was not a fan of the AE tonight, especially after the Stagg.
b1gcountry
I tried a RR10 after a long hiatus from it. I really enjoyed it.
