Good idea except those have been consumed. I just can't seem to bring myself to throw out the boxes. Bookers is my favorite Beam product.

Nice collection Brian and I love to see all those open bottles and that you are enjoying so much of your collection at the present.

looking at pages and pages of fabulous stashes I often don't see, if ever JD or BT. Am I overlooking something?

Buffalo Trace too new and many Jack collectors around. I know 2 men with a covered trailer tried to hit every liquor store in SC and GA, maybe other states, several years ago buying nothing but JD. One of my favorite stores had a lot of JD 90 and 86 and they cleaned it out. The owner said the trailer was full.

I need to do this, except substituting JD for well-aged rye and covered trailer for tractor trailer.

I have one of those boxes on my bathroom counter holding deodorant, shaving cream, etc.

We use the bookers boxes on the bar holding salt & pepper shakers, various sauce bottles etc. great containers

I do think your FR's bunker is criminal Brian, consider yourself reported to the SB popo..:slappin:

Please give some info to the uninformed, what is Weller Water?

Decided to take some photos of my bottles before packing them up. The blue background shot is the unopened/bunkered bottles while the others are my currently enjoyed collection. I know some of you will say there is a criminal lack of FR in here, that's partly due to the fact that they don't stick around long. It was fun getting them all out for some family photos!

I've also been trying to reduce the number of open bottles I have so there's less to pack. Recently departed bottles include WTKS, CEHT Tornado and SmB, EWSB '00, WTR101, OEB 7yr, and JBB.

Very impressive bunch of open bottles. I love to see this collections being enjoyed.

Apparently a product marketed in Texas for a time, it's demineralized water from the same water source used for distilling Weller, so basically S-W water, for your Weller bourbon and branch. Props to T Comp, whose original post on Whisky Advocate was the source of my info on this bottle. Nice collection Brian!

I'm game, as long as I get to ride in the back, in the trailer, to protect the bottles from the inevitably bumpy road we'll be traveling. You know, to minimize losses ;)

Yeah I remember when JD bottled some branded water as well, guess the collectors have scarfed up what's left of that.

Umm, no, not really.

As always Squire you are able to speak volumes with few words

After last night my BT is gone too and I haven't had any JD in over a year

I finally got the last bottle I needed to complete my line of Vintages. The rye version of the Vintage 17 had eluded me up to this point but it now has a nice place with its siblings. Time to do a vertical tasting!

What are you going to crack first? Are you going to open a few at the same time to compare?

Enjoy Buddy! Great stuff. Only seen the Vintage 17 in the wild. The others are unicorns for me.

I currently have a 17 wheat and a 21 bourbon open. I use my local watering hole to drink as much of the 21 and 23 rye possible before I break open my personal bottles (though I think that time is rapidly approaching). I think next will be the 23 bourbon. The 17 wheat is one of my favorite pours and I have a number of bottles.

A couple of the SB crew were over last Friday and we tried the 21 bourbon. I personally like it a lot as it has a strong oak presence without the dryness. I think its oddly sweet for a rye based bourbon which makes it all the better. It got mixed reviews though everyone thought it was very unique. As soon as I open the 23 we'll do a more official tasting and get some notes written down from the group.

Wonderful setup Chrisg and very nice collection. But you may want to change the selection a little now. :)

Hopefully this get this thread going again.
