Version 2 was started 5 years ago and was getting really long so I figured it was time to close it and start fresh.

Now that I am finally getting my inventory done and in the process organizing it I decided I'd post some pictures of my stash.

This first picture is about as far as I have got in the organization; The Van Winkles both Ryes and Bourbons. Not nearly as impressive as many folks here, but I'm trying. And shoot, I'm not sure I want more whiskey around than I can drink by 12/21/2012 anyway! :searching:

... The Wellers, Turkeys and all others will be coming in the next few days.....

Thanks guys, I'll do a run down of what they all are (40 total) in the next day or two, but can say - and it may be a surprise to many - the most treasured are the ORVW Old Time Ryes on the far right! I have 5 of what I believe was the first run and then 1 when the neck label was changed to the black. I have been pretty consistent since first tasting it in believing that it is the best whiskey I've ever tasted.

Imagine if you got conked on the head and when you came to you found yourself on a desert island with all those Van Winkles in a box. Would you think you were in heaven? I know I would!

I have had about 3 bottles of gold neck and one black neck. Especially the gold is very good Christian. My local bourbon club BBB got one gold bunkered and we will have it at a tasting event in April.

Man this is tiring work. Here is the Weller Bunker.

The two Boxes are 6 bottle cases full of Weller Centennial Single Barrel. The new shaped Weller 12s are SW from Everett's, the old shaped are SW the folks here picked out a few years ago. All the Antique, Special Reserves and Centennials (not in boxes) are Louisville bottlings. The row of William Larues are all 2006 129.9'; 4 in all and there is one lone 2007 117.9' bottle floating up to the right of them. The Weller 19 sitting up to the right is the lone 2000 version and the 5 on the left are all 2001s. Since I have 5 of those I'd love to trade one for a 2002 if anyone on here has an extra '02.

VOL,

Are all the Weller 12's in new bottles containing SW juice? Randy mentioned something about this at the Gazebo but I never asked him to clarify.

Also, the Centennial in boxes is single barrel? The regular Centennial was not single barrel was it?

I moved my stash into the hall closet to appease my wife.

the top two shelves are opened with half the third shelf right of the EWSBs.

All of the bottom shelf and the EWSBs are what makes up my bunker.

49 opened

41 waiting to be opened

You know... since the work is so tiring, I'd be happy to take some off your hands, so you can retire the wide-angle lens. ;-)

I think the rest of us use the word "bunker" euphamistically, but something tells me you actually have some 10 foot concrete walls arounds this stuff.

Very, very nice indeed!

Craving some more bourbon eye candy, have read about many purchases in the 'what did you purchase today?' topic - anybody care to post some of their recent bourbon porn?

Ok, here is my meager little collection by SB standards. There are a few I'm proud of, like the 1979 Old Wellers I paid $15.99 each for in the OKC. I left out a few odds and ends like 3 Old Forester Repeal sets and the Jack Daniel's Repeal set. Also the case of Tom Moore BIB and Mellow Corn BIB. Anyway, Enjoy!

Oh and the last picture is just of my damn wiener kids!

Crap I left out a very important picture. Those are plastic Eagle Rare Handles and 1977-1979 Yellostones, also Evan Williams 7yr 90 proof.
