This will be the last porn pics. I was moving and taking pics for about six hours tonight. The lighting was horrible and as you can see, iPad photos are not the best. Tim

What can you tell me about that JR with the age statement in the middle? I have never seen a bottle shape like that.

Stopped by the bunker while on holiday, unfortunately I couldn't pack them all up being sent to a different base. decided to inventory the expensive/rare/saving for a special time bottles.

I quit buying VW in 2010 when the 15 went to BT juice. Pappy was one of my favorites when they sat on the shelves collecting dust. I did trade Parker's cask strength for a 15 yo 2012 to compare to The SW I have. The current juice packs heat and is much more harsh, not worth the chase and cost. I have opened one of almost all I have bunkered. I just opened a ORVW 23 yo 114pf decanter with a friend battling cancer. Usually, I keep a bottle of each open except the regular 23 yo which is a little too much on the woody side for me, hence only three bottles in the bunker. They aren't making any more SW juice so I have slowed my consumption. I do have the regular stuff from Jd, JB, GD, HH,BTAC, to Clyde May. Just didn't figure any one would drool at lions pride or prichards.

The JR is a 15 yo batch # 1 taller bottle with a glass stopper. The one beside it is a shorter bottle with same glass stopper 15 yo batch number that I can't remember but early. Tim

I've been drinking Jefferson's Reserve (off and on) for almost 15 years and have never seen anything like it (or don't remember seeing it.) Do you have an idea of what year it's from? It's a pretty cool addition to your collection regardless of it's provenance. Now you just need an age stated just like the glass top but with a spherical wood top.

Edit: If that's from the very first release then that would put it close to the mid 90's? Does that sound about right?

There are a lot of bottles that I'm missing and hope to find someday. Everything has come off the shelf so far but finding that one bottle to complete a set (OFBB 2002, early btec, jps 1&6, etc...) is becoming more of a dream. Probably time to look somewhere besides shelves. I'll check the bottle to see if there are any markings on the bottom and get back to you Joe. Tim

That sounds right Joe. I'll still check when I have an opportunity. I would have picked it up around 04. Tim

Yeah we need to get it scheduled. I know some Chicago members had a tasting recently so they'd be invited too

We'd pack up the car and head down for some gobble gobble

What a collection, I just thought I had a lot of Parker's. (That Parker's is my favorite pic).

And you don't have a problem, you just don't have enough time.
