Just started the collection. Need willpower.

Looks like a great start! Have you introduced some of that Weller 12 to some Old Weller Antique (aka - the SB Blend)? If not, I highly recommend it!

No haven't tried blending the two but I'll give it a whirl. Feel like I need to horde the Weller 12 until it's back on the shelves or behind the counter here in Atlanta

I stock up on it almost entirely for that blend. I used to think OWA 107 was the bomb (and still like it well enough), but that blend . . . that's just something else entirely :yum:

You got it Gary. The only reason I buy W12 is for SB blend. But there are some really delicious OWA SB's, worthy of drinking alone

The best stash is the unopened stash. I'm not much of a collector, but I figure I've got a couple of years worth of inventory put away at present.

If the Eagle Rare decanter looks wet...it's because it was! A bad cork combined with upside down shipping led me to decant and clean this early 80's vintage. Thankfully, the remaining bourbon was in good condition (as was the decanter)!

Just got heavily into Bourbon this winter but man has it been an adventure! Moved my 50 bottle Scotch collection into the cellar for the summer to make room for my new addiction! The cabinet is 3 deep but my favorites are in the front. Too lazy to drag them all out but there are some favorites in the back rows too. Pure deliciousness!

I haven't done an update in a while, so here's a few pictures (my stash is spread over a few areas of the house):

1. The main collection in the study

post-563-14489821003219_thumb.jpg

2. The Jim Beam stuff in the cupboard at the back of the rumpus room (it has no door)

post-563-14489821003768_thumb.jpg

3. The Makers stuff on the back wall of the rumpus room

post-563-14489821004316_thumb.jpg

4. my favorite barrel (well, my only barrel) - it's got a Barton stamp on the barrel head when it's tipped up the other way

post-563-14489821005422_thumb.jpg

5. And lastly the bar my Dad and I built on the back deck (it was originally in the rumpus room before we renovated)

Love the Makers stuff, especially the bat camduncan.

Seeing so many great collections, small and big inspired me to start digging through my bottles. Here's my collection on the shelf that are either opened or next up. Mixture of American, Japanese, Irish whiskey and scotch. I was hoping to open up the Blanton's Gold Label but got sidetracked by the Four Roses 2014 LE SiB.

And here's my bunker, I had way more bottles than I thought after consolidating most of them into one location. Mostly American Whiskey, some bottles of Scotch and a lonely Japanese Whiskey thrown in.

Agreed. Classy display. And I need a rumpus room.

Just what I keep stored upstairs for sipping, I'll have to grab a pic of my storage cabinet in the basement

Cabinet is a medicine cabinet came from a WWI hospital that my family has been passing around for years.

Super nice JD. I love looking at the pics in this thread.

As an added bonus whenever Mrs TT questions my meager collection as maybe getting to large I have a quick way of showing her what an amateur I really am

Yes, that aspect of this thread does have it's advantages! There are some really nice collections and display pieces here. Thanks for sharing and very well done!

Very nice! I am jealous of your Jefferson's Ocean, that was one of the first "gimmicky" (for lack of another word) bourbons I ever had and I loved it. I didn't realize at the time that I would never be able to find it again so I drank my dram and moved on. If I had known how hard or would be to find again I would have bought one of the unopened bottles from the bar where I tried it!

That looks to be an Ocean II in the cabinet which is likely still to be found on the shelf somewhere. If you are referring to the original Ocean then yes, you would likely have a tough time finding one of those in the wild!

It is the original Oceans I crave, however I tried to get some Oceans 2 as well but apparently Maryland was shipped a total of 6 bottles. At least according to my local distributor.
