Great collection! Someone likes their Stagg Jr. :D

My thoughts as well but why is the one bottle on the upper shelf and not with its peers?

The bottom shelf is first release, the top is third release, didn't care for the second release. As you can see the 134.4 is one of my favorites.

Due to the wife's insistence I found some shelves and started to organize my bourbon cellar. Moved some of my unopened bottles onto the shelves. Have to label the years of other bottles and get them on there. It's coming along though.

Nice stash! That's a lot of Stagg jr.! I found that to be quite nice with some AAA10yr.(70:30..30 being the Stagg)Especially like that RB21, saw that this yr. but couldn't spring for it, wanted too..but. Let us know what that tastes like when you pop it.

I had some of the Redbreast 21 at a bar. It is pretty sweet has an underlying fruit taste that I can alllllmost identify but can't. Kind of a pomegranite berry mix to me. It's a nice whiskey but pretty pricey.

I have more to label and add to the shelving. I'm emptying all the closets out and keep finding stuff. Nice to finally have a little organization. Scary too, when you see what you have purchased over the years.

Very nice. I always appreciate a collection with a bit of diversity in whiskey!

I have the opportunity to try the RB21 several times and to me it is mango that is just about to go south but in the very best way possible.

You're right!!! Mango! I knew it was some kind of fruit but couldn't put my finger on it.

Mrs. Mosugoji said she was tired of my overflow bottles cluttering up the counter so I needed to go get another shelf before I bought any more bottles. She's such an enabler. Here's the spread with the new shelf in the center:

Hey Brian, nice display, you better check that cork on your EC18 unless you're letting it breathe, looks like it's not in all the way. I recently just popped the one I had in the bunker, and I also purchased some Parafilm tape (and 100 -- 50ml bottles)for my 50ml bottle collection, that I'm expanding (I bottle 50ml's from all my open bottles and save them for someone to taste down the road when I'm gone, probably my kids), and used it on that bottle and some of the others that have been sitting for awhile. It works well, but is not cheap.

It's pulled up like that intentionally. The top of the cork is too narrow and loose. The bottom is fatter and provides a better seal. But thanks for the heads-up!

Last picture didn't turn out so good. Also, I swear that top shelf on the first picture isn't bowing. I arranged and centered some bottles just in case because of my OCD.

Repurposed a gun cabinet I bought at Goodwill for $40. Added glass shelves and some lighting. Now I have a little more display room and an empty shelf to fill.

Nice work, but you need way, way more bourbon. I mean, what if there was a bourbon-drinking zombie apocalypse tomorrow, or prohibition. You need to be, like, prepared, you know?

Don't worry that is just my newest display cabinet. I have two more, a back bar and a bunker.

Well obviously I was worried about the wrong guy. You are well stocked for the bourbon apocalypse. Carry on.

This thread helped me get to my collection without any grief from the Boss. Plus she has a bunker full of quilting stuff for her hobby.

Hey nice collection , I like the ET glass on the bottom shelf , that would go good with my '69 bottle. Too bad I have to look at them sideways though:lol:

Even a small bunker is a good bunker. You've got some solid choices in there that I regularly drink. Nice start.

I actually had to travel to purchase all of these bottles, The best Bourbon I can get here is only Makers Mark and I don't even want to bother getting that one anymore.

I am hoping the KCSB is a nice step up from the regular. And the BT is always fantastic and is my favorite Bourbon to drink.
