Finally got the "store" somewhat reorganized. A little easier to find things now. This isn't all bourbon of course nor do the shelves have room for everything unfortunately. Various and sundry bottles of other spirits and liqueurs help fill out the shelves. And there are still some bourbon and other whiskey in boxes on top and below as well as stored in a few other places around the basement and other levels of the house. Still, it is an improvement! I can now see where most of it is located!

Bourbon, rye and other American whiskey occupy the rack on the right next to the white shelf (which holds, among other things, the emergency water supply in case we lose pressure and I need a splash of water for a barrel proofer. Can't be too careful!). It also bleeds over onto the new rack on the left as well as the many boxes shown here and elsewhere.

I finally finished this thread and I have a lot of different feelings right now. Feelings which I can't explain.

Anyhow, here's my stash for now. It's spilled over into several different locations; there's still a few other bottles hidden among the bookshelves.

Don't feel too bad for the Aberlour & Diamond Anniversary, there's usually pictures filling the void between them, but figured you all wouldn't want to stare at my ugly mug.

But are they secured to the floor? I could see a domino-effect catastrophe. :slappin:

Very impressive setup though, seriously.

I know you are joking but I am actually a bit concerned about that! They of course weigh a ton when full so I probably couldn't tip them over if I tried. But Georgia has been known to have the occasional earthquake!

I have in fact tied them to the studs behind them. Perhaps I should put a brace across the other end as well. You can never be too careful! A steel pipe out to work...

I agree, it needs to be refrigerated once opened to help extend its usable life. And even then it won't last forever!

It's funny how warped we are. Dude posts a picture of 15 bottles of bourbon and the general consensus is, "You have some of the staples but are still missing quite a few so keep after it!" And of course that's not even getting into the LEs...

LOL. I frequent a golf forum and they call members who are always buying new equipment "Ho's". We have a bunch of "Bourbon Ho's" on this site. :)

Finishing up a remodeling job at the house and dusting the bottles off before putting them back in the vault.

Showing the better half these pictures makes my little stash of 41 bottles and 15 samples look like I'm very conservative in my purchasing...

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!

yeah. Me too. New to bourbon ho'ing though. Spent way too much money on golf clubs. My basement is filled with gold clubs, shafts, bags, etc. and now bourbon.

The glasses being filled nicely in the "here's whats on deck" pic was a nice touch.

Ha...that's actually some candle centerpiece thing on the dining room table. That might be the last thing the wife has in there. I probably shouldn't fill those with bourbon.

Quoting my own post from 13 months ago to show where I've ended up on this journey. No more BTAC or PVW and I couldn't care less.

Some BT and randoms.

That FR 100th Anniversary you've got brings back fond memories of the bottle I had (unfortunately long gone). Mine was 56.6% abv but damn.....17yr OBSV is tough to beat!
