How is the Hirsch 25 compared to the other aged ryes you have in your mix. I have been waiting to pull the trigger on a bottle since its no small fee. The Vintages and Ritts are some of my favorites.

The Hirsch 25 is pretty heavy on the wood influence, which I don't mind, but it's honestly been quite some time since I last had it. The 22 is the sweet spot IMO. As for growing up, I'm 31 and pretty damn childish, but I'm taking the decades long view to my whiskey drinking. Just check my signature...

I am a bit of a prodigal and am just a few months into building my stash. Pretty happy about where it is but it pales in comparison to many here. I haven't focused on putting any away unless I knew it was limited in some way and would not be around for long.

they may not be "put away", but that looks like a bunker to me (a quality one).

Yup, those are bunkered. I haven't found quantities of some of the stuff I really want to put away. Hopefully this Fall will be kind!

That on deck shelf is getting heavy.

Had to rearrange, LOL. I have a delivery coming from DrinkupNY next week to keep those bottles company. That shelf tends to be my "go to" shelf and rotates pretty well.

It took enough effort getting all of those out. Maybe another night, but my dusty stash is laughable compared to some of the veterans on here. If I can add a few more gems I will make a lineup.
