Warren, you're a man with a "singular" obsession. And to think that I only own one bottle of the stuff!

It's the thrill of the hunt and I really like EWSB. Have a 2000 open on the bar now and a 98 in the bunker when that is gone.

Did a little rearranging in my repurposed gun cabinet so I could better display my EWSB collection. It's not complete but getting closer.

Which ones are you missing?

^ Nice selection. Kicking myself for not grabbing the HMcKBIB I saw for the first time earlier today.

I decided to move all my open bottles downstairs with the bunker so that I have to think twice before I walk down the stairs to grab a bottle for a pour. :drinking:

It's also much cooler down there and the neat pours I had the other night were a bit warmer than I liked and I would rather not use ice cubes unless absolutely necessary.

Total bottles = 26 (2 are vattings)

Open = 6 + 2 vattings

Done buying for a while but I said that last week and bought 4 new bottles today....

This is both funny and very true to my own experience.

I could quit buying bourbon anytime, as demonstrated by how many times I have quit just this year already.

My stash from the other side of the pond.

Nice collection and thanks for bumping the thread. Did you acquire those over there or here in the U.S.?

Most over here, two or three from the US!

How is the hunt for LE and BTAC stuff over there?

It gets snapped up pretty quick but its quite easy if you know where to go.

Not cheap though... You're looking at $200+ for BTAC and thats at retail.

It is what it is, though.

Thanks everyone! Fozzy I lucked into those walked in as they were stocking the shelf and for 49.99. Wish I could find some OWA though. The one bottle I do have is a store select

Which state are you in? I can find handles of OWA/WSR without issue but I have yet to ever see a bottle of W12 on the shelf here in MI, but I haven't been into bourbon long.

I'm in Central IL don't see a lot of Weller but for about a month W12 was all around. Now very little Weller anywhere

W12 is reportedly an annual release now. Look for it in the November-December timeframe, I would guess.

Nothing rare here. Being from Australia I'll take what I can get. I'm at the point now where if I want to try something new I pretty much have to overpay from an online shop for things that are very common in the US but not generally available here :(.

And here's a bit of over flow of other random stuff open.

That's a pretty awesome selection showcasing what's available here. After years of looking longingly at the generous selections available in the US, there's probably only an extra seven or so bottles not in our market that are must haves (for me anyway) :)

W12 was only recently made available to the state of Michigan, and I'm not even sure the first bottles have hit the state yet. My store said they'd be getting some in fairly soon but the distributor was vague on the timeframe.

nd2005, MI already had one drop of W12 back maybe a month or two ago. Came and went very quick obviously and was a very small release.

I've been out of town a lot so I haven't checked in with my regular store in a while. Owner said he'd put a bottle aside for me when it came in and he's usually very reliable. Will have to swing by this week and check up on this.
