On the nose, the Decades has nothing to be ashamed of, really rich and full. On the mouthfeel, the 12yo is the clear winner, thicker than the Decades. The finish is longer with the 12yo. Conclusion, the Decades is close but the 12yo is still the winner my book. The problem is the price, I can get the 12yo between €45-€90 (it becomes pretty rare, though) and €130 for the Decades which is pretty steep, at €90, I would stock up like crazy. Cheers! Will. Thank you for the comparison information. I am unlikely to find a WT101 12yr here in the states. So the Decades or possibly a WT Kentucky Spirit Private Select will be the closest I can get. I really do enjoy the Decades. If I can find another bottle in my price range, I may have to claim it as mine. :-)) Cheers

The BT typically runs $20-25. The EB is darker in color than the BT. Although EB is 25 proof vs 30 proof for the BT, the EB tastes boozier. It is not as sweet as the BT. The BT bottle says it has a "hint of sugar". No other ingredients except bourbon, cream, and caramel coloring are mentioned on either. The BT is screw cap and the EB has a cork. Only the BT mentions refrigeration after opening. They are similar enough that I'd gladly get either one I could find to scratch the itch. I think I slightly prefer the BT for the extra sweetness. Thanks for posting this. I like the BT straight up or in my coffee, but it seems to always be out of stock here. I will go pick up an EB and give it a try. Might go at half time, the Saints aint lookin so good. Thanks! Edited January 14, 2018 by Darwin
Vosgar
Tonight this one's tasting very, very sweet....... like candied cherries??? Lately I've been adding a splash of water to everything, regardless of proof, just to see what happens and maybe that's what brought this out. (Or maybe it's the chocolate chip cookies and/or pizza I had for lunch )

Later I’m gonna do a little SBS, 4R SmB 2015 vs 4R SmB 2017 vs 4R SiB 2012, it’s gonna fun for sure. Cheers! Will. I have been enjoying a Store Select 1792 Full Proof this weekend. It is almost empty. I just sent an e-mail to see if they can help me track down another bottle or two. I have also been enjoying another Store Select KCSB. reeko
I'm celebrating my birthday tonight with my family and trying 4 roses sib PM obsv for the first time. I'm sharing it and from the first taste, it's super delicious! I hope it's not because I've built it up in my head. I wasn't a big fan of the small batch, but the full proof is pretty good, i bet those store picks are great. I can't drink Beam products, the strong peanut flavor is not for me. Enjoy & cheers! Will. The BT mostly didn't work because it simply didn't have the kick, and needed to be spiked up like @DCFan said. I never had that problem with Baileys. I'm enjoying a nice pour of BT Boubon Cream in my coffee on this freezing cold morning. I'm going to venture out and see if they have any of that Ezra Cream left (I saw a bunch of bottles on the shelf last week) and if so pick up a bottle. The BT comes in very infrequently in these parts. Or I might reuse the BT bottle and make my own.

Working very well to fight off any chills! What a coincidence Mo. I got home from work this evening and had to shovel off my drive and sidewalk. I also helped a neighbor across the street. Supposedly only about 3" of snow. After all was said and done, I settled in with a couple of pours of Stagg Jr. Batch #3. In the words of the immortal Tommy Flanagan/Jon Lovitz, "Yeah.
