He will be driving right by Binny's in Highland Park. Just curious whether anyone has tried any of the EC store picks or the KCSB Bourbon County Stout bottles and has an recommendations. I will probably have him stop in and can give him barrel numbers to pick up but I prefer to not shoot from the hip, although I am rarely disappointed in Binny's store picks. Previously purchased the 12 year pick, Barrel 4679884. A bit disappointing, too hot and thin without any of the vanilla and fruit notes I’d expect, but hard to argue with the $27 price.
