Bourbon Peach Milkshakes

3/4 cup crushed ice

3 ounces bourbon

1 1/2 cups peach ice cream

8 ounces of pealed and chopped ripe peaches (2-3 peaches). Score the bottom of the peach with a shallow "X", put into boiling water for a few minutes, let cool and the skin should slip off easily.

4 dashes of peach bitters (this is a new one on me)

pinch of salt

Mint sprigs for garnish



Chill 2 rocks glasses

Combine the crushed ice, bourbon, ice cream, peaches, bitters and salt in a blender. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.

Put some ice cubes into each rock glass and pour your creamy bourbon concoction into the glasses.

Garnish with the sprig of mint.
