BUFFALO TRACE BOURBONS RECEIVE HIGH HONORS

Franklin County, Kentucky-Award season is here and Buffalo Trace Distillery

is off and running! The San Francisco Spirit Challenge announced their 2004

winners this week and several bourbons from the Buffalo Trace family have

topped the list with "Double Gold Medals." The following products have been

named best of the best:

· Eagle Rare Single Barrel Bourbon, 10 yr.- Double Gold Medal

· Sazerac Rye Whiskey, 18 yr.-Double Gold Medal

· Van Winkle Special Reserve Bourbon, 12 yr.-Double Gold Medal

Other products honored were:

· Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey-Gold Medal

· Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve Bourbon Whiskey, 20 yr.- Silver

Medal

· Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Bourbon-Silver Medal
