Bourbon Air Tours Posted March 10, 2019 Share Posted March 10, 2019 This is the site of Stoli Group's Kentucky Owl distillery project, looking east at 1,000 feet. Today, it is a quarry of about 600 acres with three low areas that have been mined down at least 100 feet. The low areas will be water features when they fill up. The road crossing the quarry is Highway 245. Note the railroad track crossing near the top of the picture. The distillery and visitor center will be located between the highway and the railroad to the right of the picture. A large hotel with a convention center is planned in the upper left corner near the center of the picture.
