Chicago Launch Features Founder, Tom Bulleit

Chicago, April 6, 2004: Just weeks after being named a Gold Medal Winner at the prestigious 2004 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Bulleit Bourbon makes its official "Windy City" debut tomorrow night at Whisky Fest Chicago featuring Bulleit's founder, Tom Bulleit.

Bulleit Bourbon will now be available throughout the Chicago area at top on-premise accounts and independent off-premise chain stores like Sam's Liquors and Binny's Beverage Depot.

The Chicago area launch of Bulleit comes a mere seventeen years after Tom Bulleit fulfilled a life-long dream by reviving his family's ancestral distilling enterprise. Using the original recipe created by his great-great-grandfather, Augustus Bulleit, Tom Bulleit founded the Bulleit Distilling Company.

Bulleit Bourbon is distilled from soft Kentucky limestone-filtered water - found only in the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky - and the highest quality corn, barley, malt, rye, and a proprietary yeast strain. Produced in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, the brand evokes the adventurous, independent spirit of the American Frontier.
