Bought a bottle of the new woodford wheat whiskey. Thought it was decent - sweet, fruity, nice mouthfeel - but I missed that characteristic bourbon character. Tonight I made a blend with 2 parts woodford wheat and one part EW white label. Really nice balance of Woodford’s sweetness and the leathery nutty EW notes. Lmk if you try it yourself!
