One of the best investments we have made is in a generac generator. As a friend told me, the main drawback of having a generator is how badly it pisses off your neighbors that you have power and they don’t.
fishnbowljoe
On Friday after work, I picked up a Binny’s ps bottle of Larceny recommended by Lost Politto. I was a bit skeptical because the last couple of bottles of Larceny that I had were only so so. I just opened this up and I’m having a nice pour. I’m glad I took Joe’s advice. This is a pretty darned good bottle. I just might have to go back and grab another bottle or two. Now if I could only remember where I put my emergency/back up bourbon cash stash. Biba! flahute
Was drinking some WTRB so I could write about it for BOTM. Since it's officially Turkey month I'm following with some WTMK 17yr BIB. Boom. This just blows WTRB out of the water. Damn this is amazing.

Damn this is amazing. aged turkey is great. seems like when it hits 14 year it becomes nectar. I've a bunch of the aged specialty releases but slow to dip into them. I did get several bottles of the one in the g-awful box and half metal bottle and love every drop of it.
PaulO
I'm having regular WT 101 and enjoying it. Maybe it's just in my wheel house, or those people put out a top notch product, or both. Seriously, lately I've really come around to this. Nice thing too, it's available all the time, practically a bargain.

BigRich
Over the weekend, I finished off the last 20% of the Rock Hill Farms that we opened for a friend's birthday a few weeks back. Damn I really like this bourbon. It's probably my favorite non-BTAC rye bourbon out of Buffalo Trace. I wish it wasn't so damn scarce in Atlanta now. I think I bought this bottle three years ago and I haven't seen one since.
marshall9779
Some pours from Halloween weekend. The JD was in a treat bag from a family member. Can’t even remember the last time I had. Definitely had the banana going.

Not_That_Fancy
Opened this after the bottom of a Baby Saz was found. Monday night hanging with friends couldn’t get better. Even if one of the guys asked for ice! Edited November 3, 2020 by Not_That_Fancy
Kyjd75
Today, Election Day, I have started a little early this afternoon to get myself ready to enjoy FOUR MORE YEARS! A good opportunity to enjoy a little of that 2020 LE I picked up in September.
GaryT
To celebrate Election Day, decided to celebrate by finishing this lovely bottle (to commemorate the finishing of . . . well, the last four years )
Clay34
It's a special day no matter which team you are on. It's going to be literally a historical day. I wanted to open something in the cabinet that I haven't opened yet. Not the super top shelf stuff (the day might have an outcome that will crush me), but something to celebrate the American process. I found an unopened Baker's in the cabinet. The nose isn't alcohol heavy to me and very pleasant. It's quite complex, full of spice and has a nice little Kentucky hug. The finish covers not just my tongue, but the roof of my mouth. The finish is long and pleasant. I should have opened this one earlier, I will buy another soon. Patrick_OKC
Began the evening with MMCS from 2016, ended with WA107 paper label, which I really should enjoy more often. Pat

It's going to be interesting night and comatose best way to handle it.

It has to be one of the most underrated bourbons at a semi-reasonable price out there.
