markandrex
I saw this today in the Louisville paper: https://www.courier-journal.com/story/life/food/spirits/bourbon/2020/09/22/old-forester-celebrates-150th-anniversary-limited-edition-bourbon/5859010002/ Sounds interesting but hard to find. geclbxf
you have to wonder how many barrels they actually produced - would love to try them, but certainly big time tater bait.
PhantomLamb
Agreed and not cool that there’s no age statement. Not worth $150 and beyond on the secondary market.
PaulO
I'm waiting for the Whiskey Glut series to come out. In honor of their history, they carefully select those barrels that have the most characteristics similar to DSP KY 414 of the mid to late 20th century. Those barrels are then aged one or more years than typical for the brand, and sold for one hell of a deal price.

IamMatt
Batches 1 and 2 sound good. I think the OF site said batch 3 had dill as a note; not sure I want that in my bourbon. At least one YouTube reviewer posted a review yesterday.
