Pork chop and egg just might hit the right spot.

I like a good chicken-fried steak & eggs on occasion, but generally I agree that a pork chop & eggs will fill the bill even better most of the time. I prefer pork as a breakfast/brunch meat usually.

Great memories.

Clever huh? In trying to be a little more health conscious, I used ground turkey. I also used tomatoes that our daughter in law canned from her garden, instead of tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. It turned out pretty darned good if I do say so myself. Biba! Joe Have you ever added bourbon to your chili?

rzelinka
I bought a bottle of Knob Creek Maple over the Christmas holiday season. It was a terrible bourbon for me. I gave it to my wife and she used it to honey, maple glaze the ham for Easter. Now that was very good. At $30 a bottle, I may do this again. Turn lemons into lemonade! I bought a bottle of the KC Maple last year. Too sweet for me to drink neat, but it is VERY nice in an Old Fashioned. Just don’t add the sugar, or minimally dial back your usual dose of it.

I did the same thing you suggested and put it in an old fashioned. I didn't add sugar or simple syrup and it was good. I do have the RD One Maple, and also the thirteen colony. Those are much more subtle.
