tmas
I don't remember where I picked up this old dusty 10 or 15 years ago. Don't drink to much non bourbon whiskey but this is very smooth & tasty with a bit of burn on the finish and a fruity complex nose.
Auracom
i stumbled across a couple late 70s/early 80s teachers about a year ago. stunning value. the old glendronach note of balsamic and tangy sherry is top notch. a few serious malt friends tried a sample of it blind and had zero clue it was a blend. tmas
Yes, if I tasted this blind I would never take it for a run of the mill blended whiskey, and I wouldn't think it was all that pricey back in the day either.
