Awesome I will check it out, any other bargains to check out as well? I always heard Evan was trash but according to multiple bourbon reviews I guess not.

Evan Williams is definitely not trash.  People think because it's inexpensive that it can't be good.  EW white label is/was very similar in profile to the discontinued Heaven Hill 6yr bottled in bond.  HH reintroduced that product in a fancy bottle and an additional year age statement and upped the price from $15 to $40+ and now people chase it and it is hard to find.  So that's the psychology of the bourbon market these days, unfortunately.  So, give Evan Williams a try.  It may not suit your palate but it won't be bad.  If you don't like it, you can always use it for cocktails or pull it out for when your sleazy brother in law comes over. ?

And, don't overlook Evan Williams black label.  It's a little milder at 86 proof but I really like it when I'm in the mood for something smoother and lower proof but that still has flavor.  Where I live, I can always get it for under $10, which is an insane value.

Cheers!

Most any of your BIB pours (EW, OGD, ET) are solid and they won't break the bank.  I also like the 90 proof Ezra Brooks.  A very good, and reasonably priced rye, is the Old Forrester BIB Rye.  Four Roses Yellow Label, Small Batch and Single Barrel are worth looking into.  The list can go on forever, Basil Hayden, Elijah Craig, Evan Williams Single Barrel, Maker's Mark, Maker's 46, Larceny, Knob Creek Rye, Old Grandad 114, Johnny Drum, Pure Kentucky . . .

Basically I can recommend anything on this list, although some are more expensive.

Late to the party.  @The camaro show let me know if you're looking for anything in PA, I'm 30 minutes out from Wheeling and can run stuff across the border lol.  Welcome!

Awesome Thank you! See your in the Burgh, What part? I’m in Upper St Clair or  Monroeville a good bit. I’m sure you have a great selection compared to Wheeling lol. I’m also a huge hockey and Pens fan. Played hockey for 13 years and won 2 back to back High school state championships.

I live in Peters and pass thru St. Clair quite a bit.  While I never played hockey in school, I play recreational and I'm excited for hockey season to start in a few weeks, we need to do some serious rebuilding for the Pens.  Football is another story...?

Regarding bourbon, myself and @Rhettro both live in the South Hills area and help each other out with bourbon/rum/scotch hunting as well as trade samples  Let me know how I can help.  PM me if you can and will share contact details.

Thanks,
