KC is better than BT, WR, Bulleit, etc. and here's why!

1. Because I said so...

2. Ok, it's just my opinnion.

Truly, besides the JB, EW, JD & WT just to name a few, it seems the BT, WR & Bulleit are what most restaurants carry as a standard of the tier above the oldies; at least in my area. They added KC about 2 years ago into the same tier. I truly like KC better in this limited range and have made that my goto pour for limited choices. Of coure Whiskey bars are a differnet animal and choices go up from there.

What is your goto bourbon in a limited choice restaurant or bar and why?

You are wrong if your opinion isnt the same is mine. My go to is usually an old fashoned with whatever bourbon they pour, i dont even ask. I think bonefish uses woodford in their smoked old fashoned so maybe woodford.

Damb, you aught to run fer office...

I'm with ya on the smokie' old fashioned at Bonefish but we have a restaurant here that I go to specifically for their burnt old fashioned. Bonefish is me & the Honey's goto happy hour spot, but there I may have any one of whatever is the mood of the day, including a neat pour...
