I haven't been impressed with those Distiller's Collection releases either. Young, thin and astringent describes it to a tee. The standard issue is better and $20/bottle cheaper

i tried pours from a couple of the RY Distillers Edition & found them subpar. On the other hand, the OZ versions i found youngish but very good.

so can we now have OE 15 back?

Ok, I'll jump on the band wagon.

A while back, I purchased Ezra Brooks Rye (aged 2 years) distilled in IN.

It tasted mostly like white dog (maybe no surprise aged 2 years).

Spend a few more bucks and get the Bulleit or Dickel version.

I agree...the Ezra Brooks Rye was a swing and a miss. Plus, it sold so slowly that NC ABC dropped it.
