Been storing bottles here for over 5 years and lived in the house for almost 20. Never had a problem with critters. Went to retrieve a bottle of bourbon barrel aged beer last week and was greeted with this horror show. Out of nearly 100 bottles the little bastard happened to be a tater. People say that I'm paranoid, but I do actually stack cases of bourbon in my basement with the thought of which bottle labels I would be more upset about if they got wet or flooded with a few inches of water.
