bayouredd
A little over a week ago, I opened an OF SiB. Since then I have had: Bulleit 10yr OF 1920 KC 12 ( I did enjoy that one) 4R SiB (a honey barrel) WR Double Oak and maybe a couple more. None have made me want to put the OF down as the level of the bottle proves it and makes me afraid to run out. However, 2day after the OF and others, I went to my KC 108 Blend. It is a leader of fine caliber... *************************** 1. What has made you forsake everything else? (OF SiB) 2. What has brought you back to reality and hope (KC 108 Blend) *************************** Edited April 11, 2021 by bayouredd

I love the ps OFSB a store near me did last year. I bought a few more than a few. I have a number of open bottles that I like a lot, but...... I had to make a conscious effort to temporarily set the OFSB aside and drink other things so that I could save and enjoy my last few bottles of OFSB later on down the road. My back to reality pour is of course my 2021 Weller Blend. It is my go-to of go-tos. Biba! Joe
PhantomLamb
Same here, the OFSiB I got from the distillery is a chocolate bomb and I try to save it for special occasions. Back to reality for me is Buffalo Trace when I can find it or Henry McKenna.
TehRegion219
I had the same problem with the 2-3 OF SiB (older style) and wish I would have stocked up
Mattk
I actually just started another lsb 13 the other day. It is definitely my favorite, to the point I've built bit up in my mind as my favorite, and somehow still surpasses my expectations everytime. But my normal this is a school day pour is rittenhouse bib. Edited April 15, 2021 by Mattk Autocorrect
Harry in WashDC
Lately, OGD BIB has taken a back seat to WT KSBW 101. Regardless of all the other, fancier, rich higher proof, mellower lower proof, cocktail worthy, GTS, I have opened, these two are CONSISTENTLY REAL. My SB blend comes close, but I ration it or it'd be gone in two days per 750. AS Clint told me, "A man's GOT to know his limitations."
