BourbonGuy
I have a friend who likes wheated bourbon. He doesn't seem to like high rye bourbon. Are there any bourbons that have a low rye mashbill.
BigSkyDrams
The Buffalo Trace #1 mash bill is believed to be less than 10% rye from what I recall. That’s gotta be pretty low among bourbons. Much lower than that and you’d be moving into corn whiskey territory I’d think.
Jazz June
In addition to BT #1, Heaven Hill's rye bourbon is 10% and Willett has a 7% rye mash bill. The Early Times mash bill is at 11% (King of Kentucky is supposed to be this mash bill as well). Sazerac doesn't release mash bills, but Very Old Barton tastes pretty low rye to me. IW Harper used to be at 6% rye, but not sure of its current distillation. Jack Daniel's and George Dickel are both at 8% rye.
rmoore926
Not sure how acurate this site is, but imagine it's pretty close on most of these. https://modernthirst.com/home/bourbon-whiskey-mash-bills/
