I have been approached by a couple of Instagram users offering hard to find bourbon 

at excellent prices.

im not sure I could show their account names

Has anyone bought bourbon this way?

one of them claims to have a store in Ky

Seems to good to be true

also I’m in Illinois and I didn’t think I could receive whiskey shipments direct from a store in Ky

I would appreciate any insight Thanks

yep, it’s not about what hard to find bottle

you want…. It’s how many???

 

The old, too good to be true rule applies here. 
Oh, and anyone can ship “olive oil”, , pretty much anywhere……

Unless you just want to donate money to some asshat on the internet, I suggest you report the account to Instagram and move along.

Always a a scam . Report them .

I tried one. I paid him by paypal because he seemed like a online store. Then he said he only takes paypal as friends and family. Huh? Little on the sketchy side, so I told him I only deal with business entities and use the business paypal in case of loss or damage. Long story short, never herd from him again and got my money back from paypal. There may be legit sellers on Instagram. But unless they have a verifiable legit store, I would move along.
