I think I’m 50-60 range right now between bourbon/rye/rum/tequila. My wife and I worked out a wonderful arrangement of shoving my liquor cabinet into a small corner of our already small house where it is out of sight from the public eye, due to embarrassment (her’s not mine).

If I overpopulate and work outside the capacity of my liquor cabinet I will face her wrath, so yeah, got a good thing going on 🤪.

I haven’t taken a full inventory of how many I have in total, but last week I counted exactly 60 open bottles. That’s uh…not something I intend to share with my wife though.

Whoops. I don't know what I was doing here.

I will say, the amount of open bottles is less than half of the unopen bottle and I'm scared to figure out exactly where I am with that as well.

Never counted but I guess somewhere between 25 to 30 bottles.  Got a good selection of the various Russells/Wild Turkey, Knob Creek, and Old Forrester.  My center piece is a master distillers signed bottle from Bourbon Town Branch.  This is their limited run sherri cask finished bourbon.  We were there doing one of our anniversary bike trips and did the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky.  Bourbon Town Branch is in Lexington and really liked the sherri cask finish bourbon.  Their store across the street from the distillery only had the one display bottle left.  The clerk sold us that bottle that was signed.  Dean

I'm too lazy to count.

I'm thinking that I have more than 1 and less than 150

Funny thing is...Mrs. Skinsfan offered to count 'em.  I'm kinda curious myself.

I can’t help but remember part of a George Carlin comedy routine from years ago, The Hippie Dippie Weatherman. “And now the pollen count from Long Island Jewish Hospital. One Two Three Four Five!” 🤪

I, too, was fortunate to survive a "boaking accident" with just a broken wrist.

Stopped counting, and actively hoarding; at 300 bottles.

Now, I just buy the occasional case of whiskey, amaro, or wine!

Okay, make that 400.  I knew I had a problem when I moved it all into a storage locker.  One.case.at.a.time.

Well last night got down to -4F and very windy.  It was a very good night to stay inside.  I can tell you my collection is now down 1 bottle!  🤪  D

Holy shit that's a lot of bottles!

Do you have a consumption strategy?

Maybe, drink more, buy less.

He has a knack for buyin some great bottles. More power to him! Its hard to ask a man to buy less when you see some of his purchases.. i just remember a pic of a giant haul of willetts with age at one time.

Long story short…… 🤔    Yeah I really really said that. 🤣 I currently have a total of 110 bottles. Of those, 23 are open, and 87 are in waiting.

UPDATE! Still 110 bottles, but now 24 open and 86 in waiting. :P  This might change yet again. I loved the 375 ml of OF 1920 I opened last night. I just might have to open a 375 ml of the OF 1910 this evening. 😋
