I don’t have a dehydrator, but dehydrating 2oz of bourbon or whisky down to .25oz to add to an old fashioned would make an interesting experiment.

Thanks for posting this.  That was a fun read, though it was a little esoteric for me.  I’ve already gone down the clear ice rabbit hole (and loving every second of it, I’m unashamed to admit ), but really cannot see myself going down this one.  Regardless, I would enjoy hearing from any of SBs explorers who have a go at it…and, Aaron Goldfarb remains one of my favorite booze writers.
