This is a combination of what my wife and I gave to each other.  She is the cigar smoker (at our firepit).  I'm the primary bourbon drinker.  Regardless, we both did well, I think.

Yeah, when I found out about the three pack of OF, I went searching.  The only store that had it wanted $150.  For that price I could buy three 750ml bottles of same.  The three pack are 375mls. 🤪

These are from our progressive dinner/bourbon exchange that happened last night (Christmas Eve was just too much).  I drew my new neighbor behind me (the one that lost the Hard Truth to me a few weeks ago) in the exchange.  I gave him a THH from 2019 that I  had 6 of due to a real streak of luck.  He pulled me and gave me one of these. The second on is from a “pickle gift” that he put on at his house.

A pair of 11 year and 8 month Baker’s Single Barrels is a great Christmas in my book.

I scored this for Christmas. Really looking forward to cracking it open to see how it compares.

Plus another Christmas bottle not pictured, a Knob Creek single barrel store pick.

  • 2 weeks later...

I've been working on the wheated version the past few days.  I can confidently report that it is good, very good, and well worth the $45 price.

I've been hearing the same.  Including it prevailing over OWA in blind tastings.  Just got mine to PR, so need to try it.  I tried all three of their origin offerings straight from the barrel.  I liked them a lot, albeit at barrel strength.
