Kjbarth
Whiskey from 1854? Still in the barrels? Westmorland wreck from 1854 in upper Lake Michigan? Seems a little fantastical, almost science fiction. But, there is a pretty good video in the article. If you have any interest in this type of stuff, it’s an interesting read and a good watch of he 11min+ underwater video. Not sure when, or if, the wreck can or will be salvaged, but would be interesting if it is. I’m not from the upper Lake Michigan area so maybe this has been reported on previously to locals. I hope something can be salvaged and someone ANYONE whiskey adjacent gets to taste the contents and can report on it. It’s just interesting to me. https://www.forbes.com/sites/bradjaphe/2023/02/19/american-whiskey-salvaged-from-170-year-old-shipwreck-could-be-worth-millions/?sh=663e26233a14
