Another run at changing antiquated NC liquor laws

A few interesting topics in here, but this is one is new!   Will be interesting to see what they do with this. 

 

"New rules for the sale of hard-to-get liquors, such as rare bourbons. Stores would have to keep a list of who receives these bottles, and it would be illegal to resell them, triggering a minimum $500 fine."

Im just glad they proposed a lower tax on the $50k space bourbon to keep it affordable.

Indiana changed the law a number of years ago - to allow Sunday sales.  So keep your hopes up.

The hypocrisy of the former IN no Sunday sales was restaurants and bars (that served food) had no such restriction.

Per the reselling, it's already illegal for people to sell or resell alcohol without a liquor license.
