Several Belvidere businesses fail alcohol compliance checks

Belvedere is a town about 10 or 12 miles east Rockford. I never really drank at bars there. However, there is a liquor store there that used to be decent. I used to stop there whenever I was in the area.  With the bourbon boom, they turned tater. Last time I was there I passed on Blanton’s for $199.99, ER for $89.99, and Weller SR for $79.99. It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if this is one of the businesses that got caught in the sting operation.
