Went deep on the shelf to find something I had forgotten about. A small pour is hitting the spot.

I see you keep all the most important items in the same cabinet.

I get a (small) pour from Mrs. Clueby's (aka Grammy) LBP bottle from HH YDB. I'm not a huge Larceny fan but this stuff is delicious.

Followed up with a little EC18. I know EC18 gets a bad rap...it's too woody, it's too low proof, etc..but I've always really enjoyed it.

Been awhile since I've had something from EC, glad I found this bottle, getting close to HAZEMAT. Cinnamon, dark cherries, vanilla, licorice, very nice burn/sweetness.

Nice! I'll be curious as to feedback on Black Saddle. I have a client who swears by it every time we talk.

It’s definitely worth picking up a bottle. Nothing wow, but a good low proof sipper.

Do we know who distills it?  I looked at the bottle once but I didn't see where it was distilled.   Indiana MGP maybe?

Now home for the remainder of the year and holiday break begins on Saturday. Two double BTs were enjoyed on the plane.

I was here back in August and they put me in the exact same room as then so I know have multiples of this exact view. I always bring my own bourbon in sample bottles for the room drinking.

Definitely not MGP. My 1st guess was BT, but I’m not sure. I know BT does not source to much out.

Those older ones are better in my experience. I've got one on deck myself to open pretty soon.

Having a pour of my new HH BIB Blend.

Do tell.  What's your blend bill (unless it's a family secret)?

I had a short pour of HH6BiB to warm up the ole palate.

The nuttiness note in HH hit the spot, but that nuttiness gave me an even better idea:  Almonds.  Therefore I reached for Barrell batch #26.  In my glass now.  Yes I'll say the word ...  marzipan.

Equal parts EW BIB, JW Dant BIB  and JTS Brown BIB. Easy peasy.  😎
