doubleblank
The Houston Chronicle's lead story for the Travel section is Kentucky bourbon and it's done fairly well. Lots of facts and figures (mostly accurate), descriptions fo the distilleries, maps and good suggestions for what to visit. The Getz gets a separate column and there's some bourbon trivia including a smaple "prescription" for bourbon. Go to www.chron.com and click on "travel". The only bourbon pictured in the article is Rock Hill Farms.Randy
bourbonmed
Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed this part:The Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History displays "medicine bottles" associated with Prohibition, along with exhibits on temperance leader Carrie Nation, a Kentuckian. One prescription reads: · 2 ounces demoralizing· 1/2 ounce stupefying· 1 ounce invigorating· 1 sip stimulating
