bobbyc
I want to thank Mr, Jerry Summers for arranging an inside tour at Jim Beam at Clermont. Jerry is mentioned in the Regans book, he also is one of two people who propagate the Beam yeast. Thanks to the StraightBourbon.com folks who made it. As always great to see Jim Butler and Dave, " The Big Cheese". There were lots of impressive things to see there, we'll get to them, I'm sure. Jim Beam white dog is the best I've ever drank. The machinery and methods they use are cutting edge, in particuliar the bottling line that runs 300 bottles a minute! Instead of clanking sounds this thing roars, whoshes and zooms. After all that, it builds the box around the glass at the end of the line. Thanks to everyone that came, it was a real treat to go there!
bourbonmed
Bobby, we wouldn't have been able to tour JB without your Clermont contacts. It was an excellent tour. And we had a peek at Booker's soon to be released special edition. Thanks! Omar
