OneCubeOnly
Did you guys take the opportunity to taste the Classic Cask 22yo Rye that Wade brought to the Gazebo? That one really blew me away! That's one I'd like to sit down and do some serious study on. Great stuff!

jeff
I had some of this at Bettye Jo's on Thursday evening. Like the VWFRR, I thought this one was very similar in taste to a full-bodied bourbon. I liked it a lot.
TNbourbon
One of the hazards of arriving late was missing some of the great early arrivals to the table (though I was well pleased with what I got to sample Friday and Saturday!). That one especially was a shame to miss. I'll just have to keep coming back for more.
pepcycle
Jeff and I were parked next to that bottle at Betty Jo's for a while. Conversation went something like this. Jeff: "Did you taste the Cask Rye?" Ed: "Ya" Jeff: "What did you think?" Ed: "I liked it. Very Different. But I liked it" Jeff: "I like it too" Ten Minutes Later Ed: "Jeff, did you try this 22 Y/O Rye" Jeff: "Ya" Ed; "Did Ya Like it?" Jeff: "Ya, its really great. Different, but I like it?" Ten Minutes Later Jeff: "Hey Ed, Is there any of that Rye Left" Ed: "I think so" Jeff: "Did you try it?" Ed "Ya, I liked it" Jeff: "So did I. I'm gonna have a little more" Ed "Hmm, none left. I wonder who drank it all?, Must have been Omar"
