dawng
I have two bottles of bourbon that were given to my great-aunt from her place of employment and am looking for any information possible (w/regard to possible value to a collector or if I should just crack them open). Both are sealed and are dating from the late 60's to early 70's. The first is a bottle of I.W. Harper Gold Medal with tax seal affixed but undated. The second is a bottle of Old Fitzgerald in the 1849 decanter bottle with a tax seal dated 1967. All help is appreciated. Thanks.
cowdery
Give us some more information, such as exactly what it says on each label. Pictures are even better. As a general rule, though, there isn't much of a secondary market for American whiskey, especially bottles from so recently.
