France's Pernod Ricard is discussing a possible acquisition with Allied Domecq, which makes Stolichnaya vodka and Beefeater gin, The Wall Street Journal reported.The liquor sector has seen consolidation of late and a takeover of Allied Domecq would also include participation with Fortune Brands (FO, news, msgs), which owns Jim Beam.
