wadewood
This one is paired with beer, but I bet it would work with bourbon as well:
gr8erdane
Just goes to prove them does just can't hold their liquor. I've been wanting to try a bourbon based marinade on some venison myself. Just didn't want to waste the bourbon or venison on trial and error.
LeNell
I love to make venison chili with a splash of bourbon thrown in near the end. For marinade, sometimes I take a little high rye like Old Grand Dad with some tamari sauce and lots of garlic and soak my deer steaks in it overnight. Pound the hell out of it, though. The venison, not the Old Grand Dad, that is.
bourbonchef1189
the deer on my propery don't like to hear this but I use bourbon in my deer jerky I make. You can't throw a rock in the air with out hitting a deer in Ga. I don't hunt but most of my friends bring over deer meat so I can make jerky . I use red pepper flakes, soy sauce , brown sugar and a touch of Wellers 107. to make deer jerky.
